Ralph Nader formally announced his candidacy for the Green Party nomination on 21 February 2000- his attempt to represent the Greens for a third time... this time, he says, he will be taking his campaign more seriously (he is actually accepting money this time [unlike in '96], but not for political consultants and campaign staff... he says he prefers "time raising" [meaning raising numbers of Green Party volunteers, rather than raising money per se]).
