Politician Auction

Dear Editor: I am struck by the fact that, if one adds up the total primary election votes tallied in New Hampshire, Delaware and South Carolina by "dubya", and divides this number into the 50 million dollars spent by "dubya's" campaign, we find that each vote has cost $125.00 each! My web site, at "http://community.webtv.net/ecolo/" deals with an earlier historical example of paying for votes, and its consequences. I am always looking for comments from those viewing the site, and its relationship to the ongoing Presidential race. Dan Townsend |
