- NATURAL LAW PARTY
- Although the NATURAL LAW PARTY would not ordinarily have qualified as a
Major third party under our criteria above, in light of the fact that
Natural Law Party presidential candidate John Hagelin was also nominated
the presidential candidate of a breakaway faction of the REFORM PARTY:
candidates for higher offices (Governor, United States Senator and
Representative in Congress) will now be listed within this site along
with those of the three major Third Parties as we have defined them
above.

- Nominated by convention, Thursday 31 August - Friday 1 September 2000
- for PRESIDENT: John Hagelin, of the State of Iowa
- for VICE-PRESIDENT: Nat Goldhaber, of the State of California
- CONSTITUTION PARTY
- The CONSTITUTION PARTY does not qualify as a Major
third party under the above criteria. However, with our decision to
include the NATURAL LAW Party (due to its presidential candidate
John Hagelin also heading the "rump faction" ticket of the Reform
Party) we have to take due cognizance of the fact that Howard
Phillips- the 2000 candidate of the CONSTITUTION Party and allied
parties- had outpolled Hagelin in the Presidential General Election
while the candidate of the U.S. Taxpayers' Party in both 1992 and
1996.
