If no candidate receives 50% or more of the votes cast for Governor and Lieutenant Governor, a runoff election is held between the top 2 vote getters. The runoff is held 14 days after the results of the general election are certified. The certification is to occur not later than 20 days after the general election. [PL 12-18, 2 (6508)] |
