Participation in Arizona's delegate selection process is open to all voters who wish to participate as Democrats. Only registered Democrats are allowed to participate in the primary. 17 year olds who will turn 18 by the November General Election will not be allowed to vote in the Presidential Preference Primary. Uncommitted does not appear automatically on the ballot. Write-ins are not allowed. Tuesday 19 March 2024: Arizona Primary. Hours 6:00a-7:00p MST (1300-0200 UTC). 72 of 85 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Arizona Presidential Primary. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at either the congressional district or statewide level.
