14 July 2006 Update: Chaz Higgs, the husband of the late State Controller Kathy Augustine, attempted suicide at his Las Vegas home. In addition, initial results from the autopsy report do not support that Augustine died from a heart attack as originally reported. Police now are awaiting a complete toxicology report by the FBI crime lab in Quantico, Virginia. |
