Participation in Delaware's delegate selection process is open to all voters who are registered to vote as Republicans. Tuesday 7 July 2020 (presumably): Delaware Primary. Hours 7:00a-8:00p EDT (1100-0000 UTC). Delegate Selection: Winner-Take-All Primary. Voter Eligibility: Closed Primary.
All 16 of Delaware's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes statewide in today's Delaware Presidential Primary. [Rules of the Republican Party of the State Of Delaware. Article XI. Section 3.] The 3 party leaders delegates (the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Delaware's Republican Party) will attend the National Convention, by virtue of their position, bound to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the Presidential primary.
