14 of 18 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based upon the support for each contender receives at the Caucuses. Wednesday 11 March - Saturday 14 March 2020: North Dakota Legislative District Conventions convene to elect delegates to the State Convention.

Thursday 19 March - Saturday 21 March 2020: State Convention in Minot. 9 National Convention District delegates are elected according to the results of the Firehouse Caucuses.

Saturday 4 April 2020: Select Committee on Delegates Meeting. 2 Pledged PLEO and 3 At-Large National Convention delegates are elected by a quorum of district delegates according to the results of the Firehouse Caucuses.
