20 of 25 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in proportion to the percentage of the support each candidate receives. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at the congressional district level or statewide level. Here is how the Democratic Proportional Delegate Allocation Math works.

  • 13 district delegates are to be allocated proportionally to presidential contenders based on the results in each of the State's 2 congressional districts.
  • 7 delegates are pledged to presidential contenders based on the support each candidate receives statewide.
    • 4 at-large National Convention delegates
    • 3 Pledged PLEOs
