Participation in Hawai'i's delegate selection process is open to all voters who wish to participate as registered Democrats. Saturday 26 March 2016 (presumably): Hawaii Precinct Caucus. Delegate Pledging: Proportional Caucus/Convention. Voter Eligibility: Closed Caucus/Convention.
Saturday 26 March 2016 (presumably): Precinct Caucuses. 25 of 34 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based on the preferences expressed today's Hawaii Presidential Precinct Caucuses. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be pledged National Convention delegates at either the Congressional District Level or statewide level.
