Election 2024
Presidential Primaries, Caucuses, and Conventions

January 2024 through September 2024

The "hard" count is the tabulation of delegates formally pledged or bound by law and/or Party rules. In order for a Democratic Presidential candidate to be nominated, either a majority of pledged delegate votes must support a single candidate on the first ballot or, a majority of all (pledged and unpledged [aka automatic]) delegate votes must support a single candidate on any ballot.
