Saturday 18 May 2024: State Convention. Hours reportedly begin at 2:00p EDT (1800 UTC). The 25 At-Large National Convention Delegates are according to the results of the Presidential Primary.

The 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Kentucky's Republican Party, will attend the convention as bound delegates by virtue of their position.

This Presidential Primary coincides with a state/local primary. These coinciding primaries tend to have an impact upon voter turnout.

Kentucky holds closed party primaries. Voters must identify party preference at the time of registration (at least 29 days before the election) to be eligible to vote in the primary election.

No candidate's name shall appear on any voting machine or absentee ballot more than once, except that a candidate's name may appear twice if he is a candidate for a primary or a regular election and also a candidate to fill a vacancy in the same office required .... All 46 of Kentucky's delegates to the Republican National Convention are bound to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Kentucky Primary.

• 46 delegates to the National Convention are to be allocated proportionally among those candidates receiving 15% or more of the statewide Primary vote [Kentucky Revised Statutes 118.641(1)(a)].
• The proportional delegate allocation shall be rounded to the nearest whole delegate. In the event that a delegate is unallocated due to mathematical rounding, the unallocated delegate vote shall be cast in favor of the candidate closest to the rounding threshold. In the event that delegates are over-allocated due to mathematical rounding, the over-allocated delegate shall be removed from the candidate furthest from the rounding threshold.
