There is no party registration in Vermont. After marking their ballot, a voter presents the ballot to election clerks, publicly declaring the party they are submitting. This declaration becomes part of the public record. Tuesday 5 March 2024: Vermont Primary. Hours 5:00a-7:00p EST (1000-0000 UTC). Polls may open as early as 5:00a and no later than 10:00a as set by the Board of Civil Authority. Delegate Selection: Winner-Take-Most Primary. Voter Eligibility: Open Primary.
